  • Observe colleagues (council meeting, district board meeting, program area meeting or event, etc.)
  • Review paystub information
  • Familiarize yourself with the County Coordinator Roles (each agent in your county is responsible for one or more of these roles)
    • County office/ support coordinator: secretary/ support staff supervision, affirmative action, office management, office staff conference (must complete the Supervision Training)
      • For the Supervision Training, Extension Agents must complete the following University SuperVision courses:
        • SV HR Policies and Procedures
        • SV Performance Evaluation
        • SV Corrective Action and Coaching
        • SV Hiring and Interviewing
        • Preventing Discrimination and Harassment - Office of Institutional Equity's WBT
    • County fiscal coordinator: fiscal matters, ordering supplies, office petty cash/credit card management, penalty mail, and equipment inventory
    • County Extension Council and Marketing Coordinator: county & state extension councils, program development & reporting, mass media, legislative, and student recruitment/alumni
